A Buyer will join our Supply Chain Team in Sioux Falls, SD, working closely with production, drafting, and sales to understand timelines, manage inventory, and maintain budgets. About the Position The Buyer works closely with production, drafting, sales, and inventory teams to manage schedules, projects, and costs, ensuring budgets align with projections. Self‑starter with flexibility and eagerness to contribute to company goals. Key Responsibilities Create and send purchase orders for products, goods and services. Review packing lists and follow up on back‑ordered products. Process Return Material Authorizations and supplier corrective actions. Review production prints to confirm parts requested and ordered. Track cost and reasons for urgent production orders. Process and put away inbound purchases. Verify received items match invoices. Monitor project timelines and communicate with production and operations. Organize and manage inventory within the warehouse. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands Talk, hear, sit, stand, walk upstairs. Use hands to handle or feel, reach with arms. Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Lift 20 lbs. frequently, 75 lbs. occasionally. Work in various physical positions, including heights. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment. Manual dexterity for computer, forklift, and peripherals. Qualifications Effectively manage supplier and internal relationships. Highly organized, strong attention to detail, multitasking. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Negotiation experience. Team‑oriented communication. Computer literacy; proficient in Google Suites, Microsoft Word, and Excel. High‑school diploma or equivalent.
