Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - GI Oncology Outpatient Practice

Location City: Phoenix State: AZ Remote: No Department: Oncology Responsibilities In this role you will work with MDs and other PAs/NPs, directing allied health staff and delivering clinical care to patients within the GI Oncology team. Conduct comprehensive assessments Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests Formulate a diagnostic impression Develop and implement a treatment plan Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions Prescribe pharmacological agents and treatments Implement non-pharmacological therapies Offer counseling and education to meet patient needs Qualifications 1–2 years of NP or PA oncology experience required; new graduates will not be considered. For NPs: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited nursing school and NP program; current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as FNP, ANP, or AGPCNP. For PAs: Graduate of an accredited PA program; current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as PA by the Arizona State Board of Medical Practice.
