Packaging Production Supervisor (1st and 2nd shift)

Packaging Supervisor - Food Manufacturing McDonough, GA | 1st and 2nd Shift Available | Food Manufacturing | $75,000 - $85,000 per year We're looking for a Packaging Supervisor to lead a production team at a food manufacturing facility in McDonough, Georgia. This role owns staffing, training, and day to day performance for a packaging production line, and works closely with the Maintenance Department to keep equipment running at peak efficiency. What You'll Do Lead all aspects of team leadership for production employees, including staffing levels, scheduling, and coaching to maintain motivation and morale Build and manage employee training processes so the team is qualified across all production operations and trained on safety procedures, company SOPs, and GMPs Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions as needed Partner with the Maintenance Department to keep equipment maintained and operating at full efficiency Own production efficiency targets for the line and contribute to overall plant efficiency Maintain open communication between the production team and support departments Coach team leaders on performance measures tied to business results, and run regular team meetings to review progress and resolve open issues Analyze production data to identify trends and develop corrective action plans Required Qualifications Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and training for a production team Working knowledge of GMP requirements and manufacturing safety procedures Experience analyzing production data and building corrective action plans Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree Background in lean manufacturing principles Experience partnering with a Maintenance Department to manage line uptime Compensation And Benefits $75,000 to $85,000 per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr Ilocatum
