Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Technical Specialist or Patent Agent to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in high-tech patent prosecution, with proficiency in patent searching and drafting patentability, freedom-to-operate, and other IP-related opinions. Duties Conduct patent searches and draft patentability opinions Prepare freedom-to-operate and other IP-related opinions Support complex patent prosecution matters Requirements 2-5 years of experience in high-tech patent prosecution Proficiency in patent searching and drafting IP-related opinions Experience as a patent agent or in a law firm or industry setting preferred Education Advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field Certifications None specified Skills Self-motivated and collaborative Intellectually curious with strong analytical skills Benefits Health care Retirement plan Parental leave Short/long term disability #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
