Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

The cardiac cath lab features three labs, including two dedicated cath labs and one hybrid operating room. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. The staffing model includes a lead tech, registered nurse, and registered cardiovascular interventional specialist, aiming for a team of 3-4 members with 2 techs and 2 RNs. The lab is equipped with advanced technology, including IVUS, Shockwave, DFR, FFR, Rotablator, IABP, Impella, and TVP. Documentation is handled through an EPIC system. Scheduling consists of four 10-hour shifts that may require on-call responsibilities. ICU or ER experience is preferred. Procedures performed in the unit include RHC/LHC, complex PCI, CTO interventions, TAVR, TMVR (Mitral Clips), Watchman device placement, PFO closure, ASD/VSD closure, and Impella CP & RP use, as well as IABP management.
