Cyber Security Analyst

Working remotely, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst will focus on incident detection, investigation, and response, while also tuning detection rules and developing automation solutions to enhance security operations. Key responsibilities: Monitor and analyze alerts from SIEM/SOAR platforms, investigating security incidents and executing containment procedures Continuously refine detection rules and SOC processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce false positives Proactively hunt for hidden threats and explore emerging attack techniques to strengthen the organization's security posture Required qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and familiarity with EDR solutions like CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender Understanding of common log sources for monitoring and investigation, such as Firewall and Azure AD Bachelor's degree in Computer Security, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field preferred Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automating security tasks is preferred
