Dental AssistantThe Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Alturas, CA to find a dedicated Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a busy outpatient clinic team. This full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting daily clinical operations by assisting providers, delivering quality patient care, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and helping ensure the efficient flow of the clinic. Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | On Site | Per Diem opportunities also availableWhat You'll Do ResponsibilitiesAssist with dental procedures, including extractions and orthodontic treatmentsPrepare dental materials and maintain a clean, sterile, and organized workspacePrepare patients for exams and proceduresPull, file, and maintain patient charts, X-rays, and required documentationPerform dental dressings, impressions, and other duties as directed by the dentistSterilize instruments and ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for useMaintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control protocolsAttend required CPR and safety trainingRDA candidates will also perform additional responsibilities, including select supervisory dutiesWhat We Are Looking For QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrent CPR certificationCurrent California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (for RDA applicants)Previous dental healthcare experience & training highly preferredWhat You Can ExpectRelocation assistance up to $5,000 for eligible candidates Medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance 457(b) retirement plan with employer match and LIUNA pension Paid time off, Employee Assistance Program, longevity bonuses, and uniform allowance Tuition assistance and free healthcare for employees and eligible dependents after insurance
