In-process and final inspection. CMM experience preferred.
Full-time · 1st shift · Mesa, Arizona · 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM MST
Full list of responsibilities
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspection to the print
- Run the CMM — programming experience preferred; operation required or trainable
- Use the optical comparator, height gages, surface plates, mics, calipers, and pin gages
- Read GD&T and know which features actually need to be checked
- Document results clearly — FAIR support, travelers, and nonconformances
- Work with machinists when a dimension is out or a process needs a tweak
- Keep the inspection room, gages, and standards in calibration and in order
- Handle parts carefully; this is a climate-controlled room for a reason
- Follow AS9100 procedures and don't skip a check to save time
- Help incoming and shipping inspection when the queue is heavy
