Talent Acquisition SpecialistNew York, New York, United StatesAs Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be part of the global Talent Acquisition team managing the end-to-end recruitment process for our North American Retail populations - both current and new store requirements.Reporting to the Global Retail Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll work closely with hiring managers, Stores/Gym Leadership and People Team colleagues to identify, attract, pipeline, and onboard top talent for our retail business.As part of Global Team, you will also support on US Head office hiring as required, collaborating with the wider Talent Acquisition teams based in the UK.Responsible for:Working with Retail TA Lead to execute the Talent strategy for new and existing Retail StoresIdentify best places to advertise the roles in different territories and work with external partners as required to deliver the recruitment strategy for each storeDeveloping engaging job adverts, posting internally and externally and identifying appropriate advertising channels – e.g. job boards, community groups, university partnerships, employment programmes etcLiaising with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, agreeing on a fair and equitable assessment process and timelines for hiring, providing training where requiredDirect sourcing and filtering candidate as appropriate via LinkedIn searches and agency partnerships as requiredConducting initial phone/virtual interviews to assess candidate fit and provide recommendations to hiring managers.Coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers in line with agreed timeframes, and managing the communication with candidates throughout the process, providing updates in a timely manner.Ensuring a smooth transition from offer stage to preboarding, keeping candidates warm and excited to join.Collaborating with wider TA team to align on overall strategy, technology and AI adoption into processes, employer brand initiatives and tailor to retail needs.Identifying partnering opportunities, coordinating and attending job fairs and recruitment events in new and existing territories- including assessment daysProviding the retail people team with insights/metrics to support with workforce planning activities.Supporting the wider TA team as required with volume hiring campaigns across the Gymshark business including reviewing of applications, communication to candidates, scheduling of interviews, assessment days and management of offers.Supporting the Global TA team as above with corporate office roles where necessary to attract and identify suitable talent.Accountable for:Driving efficient volume recruitment processes to deliver a high-quality candidate experience.Promotion of, internal mobility policy with Hiring Managers.Supporting the Retail TA lead and/or wider TA team on specific projects as required.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in systems and tracking documentation.Supporting equality, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.Building strong relationships with internal customers and external vendors.Developing hiring managers and stakeholders understanding of the talent acquisition process and their accountability in it.What You'll Need:Previous Retail store recruitment experience of sales associates, team leaders and specialist store rolesExperience of campaign-based, volume recruitment activity to meet fixed timelines and start datesRecruitment event planning, venue sourcing, resource logistics and hostingExperience of sourcing and filtering applications directly via job advertisements and agencies where appropriateDelivery of excellent candidate-centric recruitment processesExperience of using Applicant Tracking systems to manage recruitment activitiesWell-developed and highly effective organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to objectively coach and mentor Hiring Managers and stakeholdersClear communication, strong ability to create and nurture relationshipsPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience recruiting for fast-paced retail environments, ideally in fashion, sports apparel and Gyms/Health clubExperience of recruiting for corporate, head office positions ideally in a Retail-focused organisationDirect sourcing via variety of channels – e.g. LinkedIn, careers events, networksPrevious experience of Greenhouse ATS and LinkedIn RecruiterExperience in recruitment in international environments preferredWilling to challenge appropriately and be challengedWillingness to give and receive effective feedbackPlease note this is a hybrid role partially based in our New York City office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States.Salary Range: This role has a salary range between $83,000-95,000. We are committed to fair and consistent pay practices.
