Job Summary and Mission

The sales associate role is a critical part of the store's success, responsible for selling flooring products and services, serving customer accounts, and driving profitability. Directly reporting to the sales manager, this associate works collaboratively with other sales team members to grow sales and contribute to the store's productivity and profitability.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with the following skills and abilities:

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is a minimum requirement.

Mathematical Skills

• We require the ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data, as well as calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Computer Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs are essential.

Behavioral Skills

• We're seeking individuals with strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
• The ability to manage emotions and maintain positive relationships is crucial.
• Experience working in teams and motivating others is highly valued.
