Executive Liaison

The Miami Valley School (MVS) is seeking an Executive Liaison to support administrative operations and leadership priorities. The Executive Liaison will be a strategic partner to the Head of School and Chair of the Board of Trustees, focusing on supporting the Head of School, Board of Trustees, and facilitating opportunities for constituents to enjoy membership in the MVS community. The role involves expanding global leadership, developing character and wellness, and collaborating as part of a world-class team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for the Head of School and Board Chair
• Build and implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency
• Complete special projects for the Head of School in support of institutional priorities
• Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and support meeting and retreat preparations
• Manage the internal and external Major Dates Calendar
• Support the Head of School and the Board Chair in the organization, creation, and execution of the School's Strategic Plan
• Create a board dashboard and serve as the main point of contact for the people in charge of Strategic Plan initiatives
• Assist with tracking expenses in the Head of School budget
• Serve as administrative liaison for the ODE, OAIS, NAIS, and ISACS
• Serve and support as a member of the Crisis Management Team
• Support the Board Chair with administrative duties, including meeting preparation and record-keeping
• Support the Onboarding and training of the Board Chair and new trustees
• Serve as a steward of highly confidential information
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of School

Front Desk Duties:

• Manage phone lines and route inquiries
• Greet on-site visitors and provide institutional information
• Coordinate incoming mail and enforce visitor screening
• Process daily payments and manage remote deposits
• Deliver clerical support and maintain workspace supplies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated creative planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under stress
• Reliable and trustworthy with experience in maintaining confidentiality
• Strong technology skills, including Google Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
