Housekeeping and Laundry Director

CareCore at Margaret Hall is seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping & Laundry to lead our Environmental Services team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations while ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, infection prevention, and resident satisfaction throughout the facility. Responsibilities Lead, train, schedule, and support the Housekeeping and Laundry teams. Ensure resident rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. Develop cleaning schedules and quality assurance processes. Manage department staffing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and budget management. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and infection control regulations. Prepare for and participate in state surveys. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture while maintaining exceptional customer service for residents, families, and staff. Qualifications Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing setting required. Supervisory or management experience required. Knowledge of infection prevention and environmental services best practices. Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and departmental budgeting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Willingness to work alongside the team as needed.
