JOB SUMMARY Provides comprehensive surgical assistance as a Scrub Technologist in the Operating Room, ensuring optimal patient care and efficient surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons by preparing and organizing the sterile operating field. Select, assemble, and pass sterile instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies to the surgeon. Maintain a count of sponges, needles, and instruments as required by protocol. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide requested items promptly. Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control policies. Prepare and handle specimens safely and accurately for laboratory analysis. Maintain a clean and organized sterile environment during procedures. Participate in the decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments. Schedule / Shift 4 x 10 hour shifts Required Qualifications Experience in scrubbing for general surgeries. Experience in scrubbing for trauma cases. Experience in scrubbing for orthopedic surgeries. Experience in scrubbing for OBGYN surgeries. Experience in scrubbing for endoscopy procedures. Certifications None mentioned Experience Proven experience as a Surgical Scrub Technologist. Skills Proficient in sterile technique and instrument handling. Strong understanding of surgical procedures and anatomy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
