We offer full-time, permanent roles with growth opportunities, benefits, and weekly pay.What You'll Do:Move trailers around the yard and into/out of docksFollow customer directions for trailer placementVerify seals, perform yard/load status checksConduct trailer safety checks (e.g., sliding tandem axles)Red tag trailers if neededMaintain preventive maintenance schedule for equipmentFollow all traffic and safety rulesWhat We Offer:$20/hr starting rateWeekly pay + referral bonuses & incentivesFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTOOn-the-job training & advancement opportunitiesVarious shifts availableShifts:1st Shift: 6 am- 6 pm, 6 am – 10 am2nd Shift: 6 pm- 6 am, 6 pm – 10 pm4-day workweek (consecutive days) consisting of three 12-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift. Operations run 7 days per week and schedules include weekendsReliable and willing to work scheduled shifts and occasional overtimeWhat You Need:Current driver's licensePrevious yard switcher experience preferred but not required (handling/backing up diverse trailers, landscaping trucks, boats, or semi-trailers)Comfortable working in all weather conditionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills & attention to detailBasic math skillsMust follow all applicable traffic laws and facility rulesAbility to speak, read, and write English for effective communicationPhysical Requirements:Lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, squat most of the daySit for long periods in the cabHear and respond to sounds/alarms in moderate to loud environmentsBy submitting this application you are providing consent for FHI to contact you via phone (call or text) or emailAt FHI, you determine how much money you make, how fast and how far you grow your career.
