What You'll Treat

You'll work with a diverse outpatient orthopedic caseload including:

• Post-operative orthopedic patients
• Total joint replacements
• Sports injuries
• Neck and back pain
• Manual therapy patients
• General musculoskeletal conditions

What You'll Do

As a PRN Physical Therapist, you'll deliver individualized care while supporting multiple outpatient clinics throughout the Frederick area.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based one-on-one care
• Utilize manual therapy techniques when appropriate
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Document care using EMR
• Adapt to different clinic teams and patient populations
• Collaborate with therapists and referring providers to achieve outstanding patient outcomes

Required

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Maryland Physical Therapy license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum one year of outpatient orthopedic experience or strong orthopedic/manual therapy clinical rotations

Preferred

• Manual therapy experience
• Experience treating a variety of orthopedic diagnoses
• Ability to work independently across multiple clinic locations
