Lead Electrician

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Job Description We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician with 4+ years of Journeyman level experience to oversee a small crew responsible for installing energy-saving light fixtures and components. This role involves hands‑on work with a team of 2-3 people and requires occasional travel to areas such as Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina. -Looking for local candidates in the Richmond area, as well as candidates who are open to traveling throughout Virginia. Responsibilities Oversee and manage a crew of 2-3 technicians in the installation of energy-saving light fixtures. Support the installation process by working hands‑on with light fixtures and components. Occasionally work with MC Cable and perform minimal wiring tasks. Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Primarily operate within the Richmond Area with occasional travel to VA, MD, and NC. Essential Skills Electrical aptitude and experience in the electrical field. Proficiency in installing light fixtures. Experience as a lead technician or crew leader. Additional Skills & Qualifications Electrical experience is preferred. Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlottesville, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
