Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Tele

Cardiac/Telemetry Step-down Nurse

Schedule: Nights 36 hours per week

Assignment Details: Contract length: 13-26 weeks accepted

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years cardiac floor experience required
• Traveler experience required unless candidate has more than 24 months cardiac experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Core clinical skills: cardiac telemetry/step-down experience, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, sheath removal and femoral sheath care, cardiac drip management, non-invasive airway support, chest tube care
• Preferred skills: arterial line management, wound care/Wound VAC
• Documentation system: Epic preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with cardiac and vascular diagnoses
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Assist with pre and post-procedural care
• Manage and administer cardiac medications and drips
• Perform sheath management and removal per protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Compliance / Notes: Must pass EKG testing prior to start; pre-start modules required (approximately 8-10 hours). RTO after booking is not allowed. Every candidate will be interviewed by management.
