Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead key accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This role will oversee general accounting activities, lead month-end and year-end close processes, support financial reporting, and help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies. What You'll Do Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll, and account reconciliations. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements. Analyze financial results and investigate variances, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to management. Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members through coaching, feedback, and performance management. Allocate resources and manage workloads to meet deadlines and departmental objectives. Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes. Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and increase accuracy through automation and technology. Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and other accounting technology initiatives. Partner with Finance, Operations, Tax, Treasury, HR, and other business functions to improve reporting and decision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, acquisitions, integrations, and other special projects. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making. Participate in initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience , including supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience with month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP or financial systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and accountability. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate an accounting team. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively across departments. Preferred Qualifications CPA designation preferred. Experience in distribution, manufacturing, energy, lubricant, fuel, or industrial industries. Experience supporting multi-location or multi-entity organizations. Experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems. Experience leading process improvement, automation, or accounting transformation initiatives. Why RelaDyne?
