The Advanced Programs Production Operations team is responsible for delivering affordable and scalable manufacturing solutions that enable rapid fielding of advanced air and missile defense systems.As the Production Operations manager for PAC-3 ACE, your responsibilities will include the following:Leading the PAC-3 ACE Production Operations teamDeveloping and deploying Production Operation's strategies for the design and development of the manufactruring systemDriving cost, schedule, and quality performance for prototyping and development hardware buildsLeading the identification and adoption of advanced manufacturing capabilities and strategic supply chain and industry partnershipsLeading capital, capacity, and facility-project planning to support rapid prototyping, rapid fielding, and transition to productionDriving design-for-manufacturability, affordability, and producibility across programsCoordinating with cross-functional partners—including Advanced Manufacturing and Technology (AMT), Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, coordination and collaboration with Business Development, Capture Management, Engineering and Technology, LM production sites, and Program Management to align strategy and executionBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in related disciplineA broad base of knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production Previous operations leadership experience in a production environment Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non-technical personnel and executivesExcellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence Ability to obtain a "Secret" security clearance Desired SkillsBusiness and Political acumen, with emphasis on Business Development, Capture strategy, and Operations strategyChange agentDesign for Assembly (DFA) familiarity or experienceExperience with Make-Buy generation and strategyAbility to lead with vision and driven to shape the futureTRL/MRL knowledge and experienceFamiliarity with robotic automation capabilitiesFamiliarity with factory modeling and simulation tools and applicationsTransition to production knowledge and experienceExperience in production phases of the product life cycleContracting: familiarity with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) and Middle Tier of AcquisitionRelated professional level career experience in production operationsLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationProduction Operations leadership experienceExperience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadershipExperience in capacity & capital planningUnderstanding and wide application of assembly and test methodsProposal strategy and development experienceExperience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts CAM Certification or cost analysis experiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
