This contract opportunity offers full-time, onsite maternity leave coverage at two elementary schools, each with a unique focus—one featuring a robust language program and the other supporting a learning center along with an Integrated Specialized Services (ISS) program. You’ll enjoy the variety of collaborating across both sites, each designed to provide meaningful, individualized support to students and educators.

Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of language acquisition, early intervention, and special education practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to develop, monitor, and adapt behavior intervention plans
• Committed to fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and comprehensive student evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to each setting
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families to drive student success
• Train and support staff in evidence-based behavioral strategies and data collection
• Monitor student progress, update documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
• Split your time evenly between two elementary schools, working seamlessly within a language-focused program and a dynamic learning center/ISS program
