Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our cardiac telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while ensuring comprehensive monitoring and support for patients with cardiac conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform vital sign checks and blood glucose monitoring for patients.Care for adult to geriatric patients with conditions such as Post Myocardial Infarction (MI), heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease.Administer peritoneal dialysis and manage telemetry, EKG, and Doppler readings.Utilize electronic health records (Epic) for patient documentation and care management.Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team using the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) communication method.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant setting.First-time travelers are welcome to apply; charge experience is required.Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity care environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.Work ScheduleShift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour rotations (19:00 - 07:30).Availability for at least 6 weekend shifts during a 6-week schedule period is required.Floating within the facility may be required as necessary.Holiday and Time Off PoliciesTravelers are expected to work one major holiday during their assignment. Additional holiday work is required depending on the number of major holidays that fall during the assignment period.Maximum time off (RTO) allowed is 7 days, with designated blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th).Compliance RequirementsAll candidates must meet compliance requirements in a timely manner to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
