Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

We are seeking flexible Registered Nurses (RNs) who can work across various service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics. This position will require availability on weekends and participation in a call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers, adhering to Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Assess patients' needs based on data gathered through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate the activities of team members while executing immediate directives and interventions in urgent or emergent situations.
• Provide appropriate nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice, incorporating physician-prescribed medical plans.
• Complete verification of Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards.
• Record all care information accurately and concisely in a timely manner, adhering to the appropriate format and documentation requirements.
• Utilize health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff, assuming duties within or outside of the sterile field as assigned.
• Prepare the operating room for patient procedures.
• Contribute to the efficient daily performance of the department.
• Position and prepare patients on the operating table.
• Act as the communication liaison between family members and the operating team.
• Demonstrate continued professional growth by setting goals and participating in educational offerings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned based on the work setting.
• Participate willingly in assigned call schedules.
• Exhibit proficiency in computer programs utilized for patient care delivery.
• Assist in the control and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
• Execute all circulating duties efficiently and promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license.
• Successful completion of required health screenings and vaccinations, including MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella, among others.
• Driver's License/State ID.
• Background check results will be required.
