Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist Floater to support our client’s medical facility in Clark NJ 07066 . This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location: Clark NJ 07066 Pay Rate: $24.56 - $26.27 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and Alt Saturdays 8am-12pm (40 hrs. per week) Duration: 2-3 Months+ Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and adult blood collections. Prepare, label, process, and package specimens for laboratory testing. Verify patient identification and demographic information before specimen collection. Obtain patient signatures and ensure specimens are properly labeled in the patient's presence. Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections following established procedures. Enter and maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements. Maintain specimen integrity and follow all quality assurance and safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional and comfortable patient experience. Travel between Patient Service Centers (PSCs), physician offices, and other assigned locations as needed. Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Support organizational goals by demonstrating leadership behaviors, professionalism, and process excellence. Required Skills Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Excellent specimen processing and handling knowledge. Data entry and computer proficiency. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work in high-volume environments. Good judgment and decision-making abilities. Ability to adapt to changing schedules, locations, and business needs. Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED is required. Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
