Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a PCU setting, along with an active nursing license.

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM

Unit Information

• Location: Medical City Las Colinas, Dallas, TX
• Unit Size: 11 beds
• Staffing: 20 team members
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 (can be 5:1 with the support of a tech)
• On-Call Requirement: No call required
• Floating Requirement: May float to Med Surg

Equipment and Technology

• Bedside vital signs machines in each room
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Telemetry interpretation
• Experience in a PCU or higher level of care (no Med Surg experience)

Preferred Skills:

• Administration of critical cardiac drips
• Hematoma management post sheath removal
