OTP Therapist

Responsibilities Valle Vista Hospital is seeking a talented and dynamic Therapist – Opioid Treatment Center (OTP) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132‑bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high‑quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders to adults and patients as young as five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient, medication‑assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs are designed to help adults, children and teens learn the skills to regain confidence, heal and successfully function at home, work, school and in their communities. The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Therapist is responsible for providing counseling, educational, and referral services to enrolled patients and their families as defined by OTP protocols. Counseling services include individual, group, and family counseling. The OTP Therapist completes individual psychosocial assessments, determines treatment objectives, and sets goals accordingly. The OTP Therapist works closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to enrolled patients. Experience • Previous knowledge and experience working with individuals with chemical dependency issues. Direct experience in family, individual and group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and treatment skills is preferred. Additional Requirements • Qualified candidates must hold one of the following licenses/credentials: Certified Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) II or IV Indiana Certified Addiction Counselor (ICAC) I or II Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Medication‑Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS) Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC) I or II National Certified Adolescent Addictions Counselor (NCAAC) Work Hours Monday‑Friday, 5:30 am‑1:30 pm. One floating weekend per month is required.
