Shift Lead - Fullerton

Founded in 2011 by a group of friends, we've blossomed into a thriving chain with over 40 locations across the Southwestern United States.About the Role:In this role, the Shift Lead will contribute to our company's success by assisting the manager in executing and maintaining operations at our cafe establishment. They are responsible for delegating tasks, maintaining a safe and clean environment for our team members, and ensuring all operations run smoothly when the manager is not present. This position regularly demands 25-30 hours per week. Work hours vary depending on orders placed but can be discussed. Generally, weekdays are between 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.Job Responsibilities:In the Shift Lead role, you will have an opportunity to serve our team by:Ensuring that all operations are consistently maintained to a high standard with or without a manager presentRemaining calm in stressful or unexpected situations to ensure smooth operations while assisting team members adapting to the circumstances. Communicating clearly and effectively with team members and manager to ensure smooth transitions and prevent miscommunicationCreating a positive team environment by paying attention to changes or difficulties team members may be experiencingAssisting team members to solve problems and increase efficiency in their performanceExecuting closing duties, opening duties, and general bakery operations and is consistent with punctuality and attendance on scheduled shiftsEnsuring all orders and inventory are received and organized accordinglyFollowing all health, safety, and sanitation procedures and ensure all team members are following those proceduresPerforming other duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.Proficiency with technology/computer systems (i.e. Excel, attendance system, ordering system, etc.)Have excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to manager bakery operations independently and effectively in a fast-paced environmentProlonged periods of standing, stooping, and walkingEagerness to learn and build on constructive feedbackWhat We Offer:Flexible scheduleTeam Member discountsStrong company cultureLeadership development opportunitiesFun and collaborative working environment7 Leaves Cafe Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
