The Role The Fry Cook executes a focused kitchen station with speed, consistency, and respect for ingredients, recipes, teammates, and the guest experience. What You’ll Do Set up, stock, and maintain the assigned station for efficient service. Manage fryer temperatures, filtration, oil quality, breading, timing, and safe hot-oil practices. Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, portion, temperature, timing, and presentation standards. Read tickets and coordinate timing and communication with the line, expo, and service team. Monitor product quality, pars, rotation, waste, and food-safety controls. Use kitchen tools and commercial equipment safely and report maintenance concerns. Complete opening, cleaning, breakdown, labeling, and closing work thoroughly. What You’ll Bring Line-cook or comparable high-volume kitchen experience is preferred. Working knowledge of station organization, cooking technique, timing, and sanitation. Ability to follow recipes, stay composed under pressure, and communicate with the team. Food Handler Certification Physical & Schedule Requirements Stand and move for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Frequently bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and perform repetitive food-preparation motions. Regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed. Safely work around heat, open flame, steam, sharp tools, wet floors, cold storage, and commercial equipment.
