Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Lithonia, GA Fusion Medical Staffing–Radiology is seeking a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Lithonia, Georgia. The role requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, and a start date of July 20 2026. Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and compliance with radiation safety standards. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications according to protocols. Monitor patients for adverse reactions, intervening as necessary. Operate imaging equipment to produce images as ordered by physicians. Document procedure details in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules, policies, and radiation safety procedures. Perform additional duties within the scope of practice. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Certificate from ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). Additional certifications and licenses as required. Essential Skills & Abilities Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; PC skills. Physical stamina to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Effective teamwork with diverse personnel. Fine motor skill for assisted procedures; ability to work under supervision or independently.
