Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary: Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment during night shifts. Deliver compassionate patient-centered interventions while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities: Administer acute care to trauma and non-trauma patients according to ER protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective care plans. Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic health record system. Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changing conditions or emergencies. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies, including certifications and licenses. Float to different campuses as needed to support staffing requirements. Qualifications: Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency nursing. Hold active licensure and certification, including ACLS and BLS. Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system and pass an EKG exam. Be able to pass a comprehensive background check with no open cases. Possess current driver’s license and meet travel compliance standards. Prior charge nurse and Level 2 trauma experience preferred.
