Line Cook – Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar

Position: Line Cook
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Location: Beaumont, CA

Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar is looking for dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. We are looking for people who can work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining excellent food quality, cleanliness, consistency, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Boston’s recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.

• Work assigned stations including pizza, grill, fry, sauté, prep, and other kitchen areas as needed.

• Follow proper portioning, cooking times, temperatures, and plating standards.

• Complete opening, closing, prep, and cleaning duties for assigned stations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation throughout the shift.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, handwashing, temperature-control, and cross-contamination procedures.

• Properly rotate, label, date, store, and handle food using FIFO procedures.

• Communicate with fellow cooks, servers, expo, supervisors, and management to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.

• Assist with food preparation and restocking during slower periods.

• Minimize food waste and immediately report quality or equipment concerns to management.

• Follow all restaurant policies, safety procedures, and Boston’s operating standards.

• Support teammates during busy periods and perform additional kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant kitchen or line-cook experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.

Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes and instructions, communicate effectively with teammates, and maintain a professional attitude under pressure.

Must be dependable, punctual, and available for scheduled shifts. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

Physical Requirements

The position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending and reaching, working around hot cooking equipment, and safely lifting and carrying restaurant supplies and food products.
