Job Summary:

Civita Care Northbridge is seeking an Admissions Director to join our dynamic care team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. As a vital member of our team, you will assist in the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and overall operations of all admissions directed by the Director of Admissions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination of all admissions to the facility in accordance with budgeted census projections
• Represent the facility to potential residents, families, hospitals, and other referral sources in a positive and professional manner
• Know and comply with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures and educate residents and families in the same
• Assist in the coordination of all admission activities and documentation with all respective departments
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Act as a liaison between the facility and all community groups and agencies
• Assist in the implementation of the facility marketing plan as deemed appropriate
• Utilize appropriate sales/marketing techniques
• Maintain budgeted census mix
• Ensure detailed completion of all admission, discharge, and transfer records manually and computer-generated
• Has knowledge of admission computer software and able to utilize it effectively
• Assist in providing ongoing assistance to potential residents and their families in negotiating a successful placement

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Marketing/Sales or a related field
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a skilled nursing facility or Assisted Living facility
