Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy (OSPT) of Cape Cod, a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, has been the Lower Cape's premier provider of outpatient physical therapy for over 20 years. We are experiencing exciting growth and looking for a passionate and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team as Sports Medicine Coordinator.
About the Role

As a Physical Therapist - Sports Medicine Coordinator, you will partner with clinic leadership to facilitate and foster relationships with area sports medicine physicians as well as youth, high school, and adult sports organizations with a goal of enhancing OSPT as a sports physical therapy provider-of-choice. This role will be an enhancement to your full patient caseload with additional responsibilities to include program development meeting attendance, and communication with physicians.

Your typical day includes:

• Delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care focused on restoring movement, strength, and function
• Developing and progressing individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional rehabilitation techniques
• Partnering with physicians, athletic trainers, and local sports organizations to grow OSPT's sports medicine program and promote injury prevention
• Educating and motivating patients to stay engaged in their recovery and long-term wellness
• Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting treatment sessions and outcomes in Prompt EMR system

About You

You will be a great fit for this role if you bring the following:

• Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care- At OSPT, our focus is clinical excellence and superior outcomes. You will have 40 minutes to treat and will own your own schedule. We don't count visits or push productivity standards: your success is gauged on patient engagement, satisfaction, and results
• Desire to take the next step in your career and expand your position to a senior, manager or director role and assist with sports medicine program development
• Desire to work with a phenomenal patient population and caseload that includes general orthopedics, pre/post-surgical, spine care, balance, and vestibular
• High interest in sports medicine and manual-based care - We partner with and treat players from the Cape Cod Baseball League as well as high school athletes, active seniors, golf enthusiasts, and weekend warriors
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, and positive team environment - Our team includes four seasoned physical therapists, great for new grad or peer-to-peer mentorship!
• Superior customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills - OSPT's reputable and engaging team is what keeps patients coming back and spreading the word about our services
• Drive to continually learn and grow with interest in residency and certifications programs such as MTC, CHT, dry needling, among others

In addition, you have:

• Appreciation for a new facility with the latest equipment and a functional training/fitness center next door
• Preference for a full-time, 5-day a week schedule
• An active or pending Massachusetts PT license and graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PT school
• One year experience as a physical therapist preferred with knowledge or track record in sports medicine-related program development
