Overview

Our organization is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to become part of a distinguished Women's Health Care Center located in Cary, NC. Join a dedicated team that emphasizes a collaborative approach to patient care, ensuring that each individual's experience is personalized and significant.

The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will engage closely with both obstetric and gynecologic patients, aiding in childbirth and offering healthcare services to women after pregnancy. Responsibilities include supporting prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, as well as providing reproductive health services, treatment, and education to female patients.

Position Highlights

• Become part of a well-established practice that has been serving the Raleigh Metro area for over 30 years.
• The team consists of 6 OB/GYN physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, and 2 certified nurse midwives, supported by an excellent staff.
• Office locations are situated in Cary and Morrisville.
• Work schedule includes 3 clinic days each week.
• Average patient volume is 15-20 per day.
• One day per week on call, with weekends counted as regular days.
• Collaborate with a top-tier physician team dedicated to training and mentorship.
• Deliveries take place at WakeMed Cary Hospital.

Requirements

• AMCB Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery program accredited by the ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME).
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN).
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license.
• CPR and NALS Certification.
• Current unrestricted DEA License or the ability to obtain one.
• A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience as a CNM is required.
