Territory Manager – Knoxville, TN Travel Required: 50% of time Hybrid Role Summary As a Territory Manager for Colgate Oral Care Pharmaceuticals (COP), you will lead the effort to expand Colgate’s premier oral health products across the Knoxville, TN area. You will build strong relationships with dental practices, increase net sales, grow product mix, and drive overall consumption of Colgate professional products. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, communicative, analytical, and skilled at negotiation. Applicants must reside within the geographic territory or be willing to relocate there. Detailed boundaries will be provided during the interview process. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop territory business plans prioritizing the largest and most profitable opportunities while continuously decreasing cost‑to‑serve. Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals by meeting or exceeding key performance indicators, including number of calls, sales, and new/total customer acquisition. Drive sales by promoting and merchandising Colgate’s professional dental products to practices within the territory. Cultivate and expand relationships with dental practices to boost sales and identify new opportunities. Actively seek new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and other outreach methods. Build and maintain successful working relationships with cross‑functional partners, including Corporate DSO, Remote Selling Team, Call Center, Marketing, Educational Team, and third‑party distributors. Represent Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals at dental conventions, local associations, study clubs, and dental/hygiene schools. Educate customers through detailing and in‑clinic seminars/lunch & learns on the superior efficacy and value of the Colgate professional portfolio. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree At least 2 years of sales experience Ability to travel within the designated territory Valid driver’s license in the state of operation Proficiency in English, essential for effective communication with partners Preferred Qualifications Prior sales experience in the dental industry, CPG, or medical devices Knowledge of the competitive landscape in health care products Strong relationship‑building skills, both internally and externally Experience working with third‑party distributors Background in B2B sales, dental hygiene, or dental office settings Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $70,000.00 – $96,000.00 USD + Bonus + Company Vehicle. Pay may vary with experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives.
