Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid Dental Hygienist license, familiarity with dental office procedures, and understanding treatment priority
Strong skills in dental assisting and knowledge of dental office operations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our office in Aliso Viejo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. Laser certified is a plus, but we can train for EpicX, we do LBR for most Patients. iTero scanning a plus, we scan once a year for most Patients. Detail oriented, go through each Patients chart and check what needs to be done at their appointments, to drive the morning huddle. Work with the rest of the team to identify each Patients treatment needs. We are on the biological side, we offer Hydroxyapatite as an option.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and record medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments.
Take digital x-rays, intraoral pictures and iTero scan and discuss problems, consequences and solutions. We use Pearl second opinion for better diagnostic x-rays. Follow up with recommended treatment
Perform oral cancer screenings with ViziLite Pro
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols in the dental clinic.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional Patient care.
