Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Quality Technician - 2nd Shift. The hours for this role are 1:45pm - 10:15pm. The hourly rate for this position is $27.04 per hour. What You'll Do: This position will be responsible for inspecting products to ensure they meet company and customer quality expectations. In this function you will:

• Perform part and product inspections, document the results, identify and quarantine Non-Conforming (NC) parts
• Determine the Root Cause of Non-Conforming Parts
• Verify First Article Inspection (FAI) of all production lines
• Perform Control and Process audits as scheduled
• Report inspections and audits using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Create Quality Alerts and notify operators of quality issues
• Investigate Non-Conforming Product, use problem-solving techniques to resolve issues
• Contribute to pre-production quality planning, including developing Quality Assembly documents, attending product and process reviews and technical training of production personnel
• Support Manufacturing Engineering in machine capability studies for new and existing machines
• Support Gage Calibration System
• Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies

Qualifications: Required (Basic):

• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
• 1 Year of experience as a Quality Technician
• Experience inspecting products to ensure they meet company standards and customer quality expectations

Skills: Individual may be required to sit, stand and walk regularly. Individual must be able to lift up to 40 pounds throughout work shift. Individual may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, push and/or pull.
