Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0630 - 1700) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN License Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have: 1 year of experience in circulating Description: This position requires working in an Operating Room setting. The nurse will be responsible for assisting in various types of cases, including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT. The nurse will circulate only; blue scrubs will be provided. A 24/7 pharmacy is available on-site. Ratios are typically 1:1. Candidates should be prepared to discuss weekend requirements and call responsibilities during the interview. Floating is not required for this role. All certifications must be current and available for verification. Candidates will be interviewed promptly if files are complete and well-organized. Additional skills and competencies may enhance candidacy.
