Inventory Control Coordinator, Part-Time, SeaWorld San Diego

What you get to do Maintain accurate perpetual inventory in SAP. Represent SeaWorld with a positive attitude, high level of energy, and commitment to quality, while complying with all company policies and best‑practices. Perform tasks efficiently and accurately. Execute authorized tasks and transactions (goods movements, queries, etc.) using SEA applications such as SAP (SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment’s ERP System), SAMMS (Sourcing and Materials Management System), MMS, and RI. Use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) to create, maintain, complete, and implement documents and forms such as Material Status Report (Mat-Stat) and Material/Product/Menu Recipe Change (PMR). Analyze and process inventory documents such as invoices, proof of delivery (POD), and pick tickets. Monitor inventory: analyze movements; identify and reconcile discrepancies; conduct physical counts; manage price change events; assist with cycle counts; coordinate depletion, replacement, and instatement of materials. Administer basic purchasing contract terms (pricing, freight, tax, etc.). Process inventory documents including department‑to‑department transfers, location‑to‑location transfers, Want Lists, Broken Box Lists, price change events, cycle counts, mid/max adjustments, etc. Effectively communicate with internal guests (Merchandise Warehouse, corporate merchandise, requisitioners from other departments, etc.) and external guests (delivery drivers, vendor reps, etc.) to ensure proper inventory management. Assist with filing and archiving paperwork. Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. What it takes to succeed Experience with SAP Logistics/Material Management and Microsoft Excel preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi‑task and adapt to changes in a fast‑paced work environment. Physical capability to sit for prolonged periods, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs. Ability to positively interact with guests and co‑workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs. SeaWorld experience preferred. Proficiency in MMS, xstore, Retail Ideas usage, and reporting price change events. Strong written/verbal communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English. Availability: Non‑peak season – 5 days of unrestricted availability, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays; Peak season – 5 days of unrestricted availability, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
