**WE ARE LOCATED IN ASTORIA, QUEENS, NY**

We are seeking a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team!

OBG/YN private practice located in Astoria, Queens is looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to work full time or part time. The candidate needs to have NYS license.

Competitive salary and benefits offered. Monday to Friday schedule, no calls, no hospital assignments. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• The NP/PA will provide general and preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests and prescribe medication for obstetrics and gynecologic patients.
• The NP/PA will perform pap smears, colposcopies, IUD and Nexplanon removal/insertion
• Work with the doctor to provide all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
