OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Marrero, LA by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Based in Marrero, LA, HMD Trucking is hiring seasoned OTR solo CDL A drivers for nationwide HAZMAT shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport hazardous materials in compliance with DOT rules
- Maintain precise logs, inspection reports, and HAZMAT documentation
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries
Enjoy late-model trucks featuring APUs, inverters, and sleepers, backed by reliable in-house maintenance. Average 2,500 miles weekly, plus pay incentives, health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), and home every two weeks.
