Pay $20-22/hr

Shift: 2pm-10pm

The Lead Caregiver / Shift Lead is responsible for providing hands-on resident care while supporting and guiding caregiving staff during assigned shifts.

This position serves as a leadership resource within the community by helping ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care while assisting with team support, communication, training, and daily operations.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, organized, and passionate about serving seniors while supporting team success.

• Provide hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and daily routines

• Supervise and support caregiver staff during assigned shifts

• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new caregivers

• Communicate resident condition changes and care concerns to nursing and leadership teams

• Ensure care is delivered respectfully and according to individualized care plans

• Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs

• Support compliance with community policies, procedures, and documentation standards

• Maintain accurate documentation and communication during shifts

• Promote teamwork, positivity, and excellent resident service

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or caregiver certification as required by state regulations

• Minimum 1–2 years of caregiving experience preferred

• Assisted living, memory care, or long-term care experience strongly preferred

• Previous leadership or shift lead experience preferred

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
