Behavioral Health Consultant (LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)

Role & Responsibilities As a Behavioral Health Consultant, you will be part of the primary care team, identifying, triaging, and managing patients with medical and behavioral health issues. Your duties include providing psychoeducation, developing behavioral/therapeutic treatment plans, assisting providers in recognizing and treating mental disorders, detecting at-risk patients, and assessing clinical status for referred individuals. Qualifications & Skills Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or PhD/PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program. Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist in California. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers. Valid California driver’s license with proof of insurance and a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Experience with health psychology services for pediatric patients (0-18). Knowledge of trauma-informed care, adverse childhood experiences, suicide prevention, and crisis assessment. Proficiency with electronic health records.
