Position Overview

Penfield Country Club is seeking an energetic, friendly, and service-oriented Beverage Cart Attendant to provide exceptional service to our members and guests on the golf course. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has strong customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the beverage cart safely throughout the golf course.
• Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests.
• Sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and other approved items.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and member charge transactions.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and restock products as needed.
• Verify age identification and comply with all alcohol service regulations.
• Keep the beverage cart clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Complete daily sales reports and inventory counts.
• Communicate member feedback and operational needs to management.
• Assist with golf tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Follow all club policies, safety standards, and service procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, restaurant, or golf course experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a shift.
