Paint Prep Technician (Aviation Part Restoration)
**Aviation, Automotive restoration, Auto body, collision, fiberglass, or similar refinishing experience welcome.**
Location: East of Newnan, GA | Full-Time | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We're partnered with a growing company that restores and refinishes high-value components, including metal, composite, and fiberglass parts. They're looking for surface prep techs who take pride in a flawless surface.
If you've done body filler, feathering, fiberglass repair, or metal prep, you already have the skills for this job. If you have auto body refinishing, interior refinishing, collision repair, metal, fiberglass, or similar restoration experience they'll teach you the aviation side.
The work
- Prepping interior components for paint and decorative finishes
- Filler work, sanding, and feathering to a defect-free surface
- Light fiberglass and composite repair
- Masking, scuffing, and cleaning for proper adhesion
- Wet sanding, polishing, and buffing
- Checking your work against written instructions before it moves to paint
What we're looking for
- Experience in collision repair, auto body refinishing, fiberglass, or composite prep
- A sharp eye for imperfections and pride in your finish
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
