Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an outpatient surgery center in Lone Tree, CO, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and the ability to float across multiple Denver-area surgery centers.

Details

• Outpatient surgery center setting located adjacent to a medical center in Lone Tree, CO
• Operating Room unit handling a wide variety of surgical service lines including ortho/sports medicine, general surgery, ENT, pediatrics, GYN, podiatry, plastics, and urology
• Lower acuity patient population with a high variety of cases
• Patient ratios are 1:1 in the OR and 2:1 in the PACU
• EMR: Paper and SIS
• Shift hours are 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM with one late shift per week
• Required to float to all surgery centers in the Denver area on an as-needed basis
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required
• BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred, particularly for candidates with pediatric case experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Experience circulating across a variety of surgical service lines in a fast-paced environment required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN (US only) and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Stable, experienced surgical team with strong staff longevity
• Flexible, self-starting candidates with a positive attitude will be the best fit for this unit
