Your duties will include:Leading, directing, and assisting inmates working within the kitchenLeading and assisting with daily meal preparationFood preparation, baking, and cookingAssisting with kitchen clean-up and maintaining a clean work areaReading and following company recipes and established proceduresProviding instruction and direction as neededWorking effectively within a structured correctional environmentWhat We're Looking ForQualified candidates should have:A high school diploma or equivalentThe ability to work well in a structured correctional environmentThe ability to read and follow company recipesThe ability to lift up to 50 poundsStrong communication and leadership skillsA willingness to work as part of a teamFlexibility to work weekends and holidaysFlexibility to work varying days and hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PMThe ability to obtain clearance approval to enter the facilityPrevious food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!If you're looking for a dependable, hands-on leadership opportunity where your work matters every day, we would like to hear from you!Join the Tigg's Canteen Services team today!
