In this position, you will be responsible for setting up PAP equipment, providing patient education according to the patient's needs. This will involve teaching, advising, and cleaning to ensure appropriate functioning of our equipment in home and as patient needs arise.If you want to be part of a motivated and successful team of winners, we definitely want to hear from you.Respiratory Therapist must live in the greater Killeen Texas and willing to travel to patients homes for in-home CPAP setupsEarn extra income and make your own hours - This is a 1099 contracted positionWe are looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist who combines exceptional human relations skills to interface with our clients and a wide variety of customers. You should display excellent verbal, communication, and people skills. In addition, it is also vital that you demonstrate commitment to provide exceptional service to our clients as well as the ability to work on an independent basis with minimal supervision.Other Requirements Include:Familiarity with CPAP and BiLevel equipment and services provided in the homeFamiliarity with CPAP masks and be able to assess type and size for clientAbility to establish relationship with client and educate on proper use and care of equipmentMinimum of two years' experience in home CPAP / BiLevel setups.Willingness to use personal vehicle for business with valid driver's license and clean recordBe available evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the patientCurrent State Respiratory Therapy License in good standingSolid knowledge and ability to follow applicable policies and procedures of the Safety & Regulatory Manual regarding General Safety, OSHA, DOT, FDA and EmergencyHave a working computer, printer, and scanner to obtain and print ordersFlexible SchedulePhysical DemandsThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
