The ideal Poke House candidate will: Be reliable, energetic, and motivated Maintain a cheerful, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude Exhibit exceptional customer service skills Lead a team and foster positive relationships Maintain a professional appearance Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment Communicate clearly and follow instructions Understand and adhere to all Poke House rules and regulations Expectations & Responsibilities: The ability to interpret P&L statements and translate data into actionable strategies Ability to remain calm under pressure and stressful situations Ability to work a rotating schedule as needed Create and publish schedules every week Conduct and send Reports to the Leadership Team regarding sales, labor, and progress of the store Oversee employee training, and, when necessary, termination of employees. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. Conduct product quality checks by taste testing and inspecting food to ensure the quality of food is consistent and up to standards Maintain a professional restaurant image such as proper staff presentation and appearance standards. Complete vendor and inventory ordering of products. Ensure a positive guest experience. Complete employee quarterly performance evaluations Announce operational and procedural changes Conducting monthly store meetings Requirements: At least 21 years of age Requires 1 year of Restaurant Management experience(2 years preferred) Be available to work at least 5 days a week | Full Time Open and flexible availability required(variable hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed) Be available to cover shifts when call offs occur Be able to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location Complete Manager Serv Safe certification within 90 days of employment(Poke House will provide paid training and exam) Physical requirements: Long periods of standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 lbs) Poke House Perks: Competitive Compensation Annual Raises Flexible Scheduling 401k Employee Meals at a discounted rate Referral Bonuses Company Dinners Job Type: Full-time At Poke House, our mission is to capture California’s adventurous spirit in our tasty, modern poke while supporting local small businesses and preserving the environment.
