Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Lab Scientist II to join a busy 200-bed hospital laboratory in Fairhope, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional with strong Generalist experience and a solid Blood Bank background to work in a collaborative Core Laboratory environment with the potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing as a Generalist.
• Perform Blood Bank testing, including antibody identification and antigen typing.
• Analyze and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain quality control and comply with laboratory policies and procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to support quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS, CLS, MT
• Generalist laboratory experience.
• Blood Bank experience, including antibody identification and antigen typing.

• Location: Fairhope, AL
• Job Type: 13-week contract
• Pay Range: $35 - $40 (Hourly)
• Shifts: 9:00pm-7:30am Mon-Thurs
