Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Radiology RNs to provide specialized patient care within the radiology department across multiple sites. The role involves performing a variety of clinical duties while ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiology patient care, supporting diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT and MRI.
• Perform accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms via EKG strips and complete the Basic Arrhythmia Exam.
• Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate patient treatment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and vital signs in accordance with facility policies.
• Adhere to infection control practices, including COVID vaccination and booster verification.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and travel requirements at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Possess a current NJ or Compact license in good standing.
• Maintain valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with CT and MRI procedures, with training provided if needed.
• Be able to interpret EKG strips accurately, with a passing score of 80% on the Basic Arrhythmia Exam.
• Be prepared to complete a Basic Arrhythmia Exam during the application process.
